Didnt really know that it has been a while since I updated this particular site. Had been to a couple of places, hm..seems like I do some travelling every month. *sweet*..thats my way to reward and encourage myself. wohoo..nice being away from home in this way, NO commitment, NO responsibility just me and myself. yahoo!!

Timely, 28 Feb 2009, I was at Oxfordshire, doing some touring aroud to Warwick Castle, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Cotswold, Oxford. Looks and sounds interesting..it was indeed a good tour. Warwick Castle seems to be an old-dodgy castle, nothing much inside it, but with good views, as its upon some sort of river that I cant really remember the name, but the scary thing about that castle is the DUNGEON!! (in other words) a Prison.. Some wax people in the museum..and thats all about Warwick.

Stratford-Upon-Avon - a place i would imagine the days of William Shakespeares, the community and of course his beloved wife, Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Its rather small inside the house, makes me wonder how tall they were! Never know that William Shakespeares's Dad is quite a well known person in Stratford. Rich as they could afford beds for guests and of course themselves! (Beds were quite costly at that period of time, it symbolises wealth and status of a family!) Its a pity that we didnt managed to go over to Anne Hathaway's cottage and the other places at Stratford, ~ due to the tight schedule (wasted!) but will go there again one day and explore every single place!
Cotswold - Wizard cottages around. People do believe and practice wizardary and i suppose its spooky!! Cottages in England are pretty expensive to maintained. If you own it, you are RICH! Many rules need to be obey if you own any heritage buildings across the UK. (Nothing comes cheap here tho!)Finally Oxford, being our last destination, I thought we would visit the grandiest university but apparently, there isnt any Oxford University at Oxford. God knows where it is situated! All we were visiting was ChristChurch where Harry Porter's film was being filmed. (does it make sense?) Scroll around the street and pop! We are back to London!!

Now is back for me to report about March happenings..I was at Cambridge a few days ago, FREE trip from the Chinese Society in the Uni. (YES!!!) Doesnt need a penny for the bus ride, haha.. enjoyed the trip partially. You may have the thought of why just partially and not fully?? Well, being in London, nothing is predictable especially the weather. This minute you can see the sun smiling, next the sky starts to sob and then pour! That was the harsh part of the trip, but we oh well, I did enjoy the trip. The main thing about the Cambridge is Kings College. (really weird you see, everywhere you travel to, its all the famous Universitites, Colleges around, and basically thats it! Why? Simply because they have long history.)
